Fade to Black

Finally I will turn off my headlight, pull the garage door down
and watch as chariots of theatrical dream gallop across my brain pavement
no more trying to save face 'n
skippin' to my looser side and twice denying its location
Numb to phobic density
which makes hella sense to me.
I love to elongate cerebral bounds
and toss into Pounds all who hound me.
FADE TO BLACK.

What else is there for me to briefly cheer about?
alas a lout sprouts and conveys his plight aloud
held captive by authoritative napkins
corrected the spills he inwardly passioned
Silenced them all with a clot of confidence
bursting brightly the sky bound cynic
mimicking as fireworks bloom to loom
over the melancholy populous
punching clocks ‘til their doom.
